“12th Fail” actor announces his retirement

Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey announced his retirement from acting in a shocking post. The actor first ventured into the television industry and then moved into mainstream cinema. In a post, he revealed that he has made many memories throughout his life and has two more films left before he officially says goodbye.

The Vikrant starrer 12th Fail is one of the superhits released last year. He was later seen in Sector 36 and The Sabarmathi Report. Now the actor surprised everyone by calling it quits.

“The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support. But the further I progress, the more I realize it’s time to recalibrate and return home. As a husband, father and son. And also as an actor,” the actor wrote on social media.

“So in 2025 we would meet for the last time. Until time sees fit. The last two films and many years of memories. Thanks again. For anything and everything in between,” he added.

Currently, Vikrant is working on two projects: Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. Vikrant started his acting career with the show Dhoom Machao Dhoom. He later starred in Balika Vadhu in 2009 and debuted with Lootera. His other successful films include A Death in the Gunj, Ginny Weds Sunny, Haseen Dilruba, Love Hostel and 12th Fail.
