The 2024 college football regular season is over and bowl season is just around the corner. Conference championship weekend will cement the final slate of postseason games to take place over the next month and a half, culminating in the national title game.

To keep track, below is the complete list of 2024-25 college football bowl games with ongoing score updates as the season progresses, including CFP playoff games and more. This story will be updated after Selection Day on Sunday, December 8th.

Which teams made it to the College Football Playoff?

How many bowl games are there?

There will be a total of 47 bowl games in the 2024-25 season, including four College Football Playoff first-round games, four quarterfinal games, two semifinal games and the national championship on Monday, January 20.


How many games does a college team have to win to be eligible to play bowling?

Generally, teams must win six or more regular season games to be bowl eligible. However, there are exceptions when more teams are required to complete the list of games. The most common exception is five winning teams, which are ranked in order of their Academic Progress Rates (APRs). The APR tracks student-athletes’ graduation opportunities.


Which bowl games are playoff games in 2024-25?

All former New Year’s Six shells will be used for the College Football Playoff this year for the new 12-team playoffs. The quarterfinals will be played on December 31st and January 1st in the Fiesta Bowl, Peach Bowl, Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl. The semifinals will be played in the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl on January 9th and 10th, respectively. These six major bowls will alternate the CFP quarterfinals and semifinals indefinitely.
