2025 Mardi Gras events schedule for Lake Charles and SWLA

Now that Christmas is over, most people in Louisiana will be focusing on their other favorite holiday: Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras season is here in no time and it all kicks off in early January with the 12th Night celebration.

Mardi Gras is late this year as Mardi Gras Day this season takes place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Some people like a later season because it gives them more time to prepare. It also gives Mardi Gras Krewe more flexibility in planning their Mardi Gras balls and celebrations.
