After the New York Giants’ stunning loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, they were nearing the end of one of the worst seasons in franchise history.

The loss also moved them much closer to the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

After Sunday’s NFL schedule and before Monday Night Football After two games, the Giants had the best chance of landing the first overall pick, which many suspected would be a quarterback, by the end of the season.

However, following the Las Vegas Raiders’ loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the Giants are currently projected to go second overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to Tanktathon.

The Raiders are the only other NFL team with just two wins after Week 15.

While questions remain about what the Giants will do with head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen, fans are keeping a close eye on the draft picks for the rest of the season.

A little over a week ago, fans celebrated when Graham Gano’s attempt to score a game-winning field goal against the New Orleans Saints was blocked.

The Giants are currently on a nine-game losing streak and are in danger of becoming the first team in NFL history to finish 0-9 at home.

Both the Raiders and Giants still have winnable games on their schedule. The Raiders play the three-win Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16.

The Giants still have three games left, their next game being on the road against the Falcons, who narrowly beat the Raiders Monday Night Football. However, the Giants were still underdogs in the away game by double figures.
