The duo of Cooper Flagg and Isaiah Evans combined for 39 of Duke’s points while the Blue Devils shot 50% from the floor.

Tahaad Pettiford led all Tiger scorers with 20 points, making four shots from 3-point range. He was one of three Tigers to strike from deep.

Auburn’s Johni Broome was fouled and finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Duke led the contest with 20 second-chance points and had 33 points from its bench, led only by Evans.

Duke made it difficult for Auburn to play flawlessly on offense all game long, as the Tigers shot 45% of their shots from the floor as a team.

What’s next for Tigers?

The Tigers are 7-1 on the year and return to Neville Arena for their next game against Richmond.

They will participate in Holiday Hoopsgiving against Ohio State before closing out the month with three more games before conference play.
