5 numbers that stood out in Iowa football’s win over Nebraska

IOWA CITY – As if the Iowa-Nebraska matchup needed any more drama, the Hawkeyes made sure Friday will go down as a classic in the history of the rivalry.

Drew Stevens’ 53-yard field goal sneaked just inside the right upright and sent Kinnick Stadium into a frenzy as the Hawkeyes cruised to an improbable 13-10 victory to close out the regular season. Iowa lost most of the night on offense, save for a highlight from Kaleb Johnson, but the defense and special teams once again saved the day.

As usual, there were notable numbers everywhere in the final result. Here are five characters who tell the story of Iowa’s narrow victory.
