If you’re here for some hints and not spoilers, you’ve come to the right place. Before I get into the clues for each category, it’s worth noting that in this puzzle, every single word is of the same type. You are looking at 16 different proper namesand you have to figure out which ones go where. It is a difficult undertaking, and one at which I have failed. However, here are some pointers to help you overcome the challenge:

  • One category is about names that are part of a drama
  • One category is less applicable and is more concerned with the alternative methods of naming a person
  • One category is about names that have all appeared on children’s television
  • One category is about names that have no real meaning beyond their structure

Admittedly, this is a TV show I’ve never seen and probably didn’t guess correctly. TONY is too Part of a whole series of fake awards that could have been their own categorytogether with: OSCAR, GRAMMY and EMMY. I think that’s a little unfair, but it is what it is and that’s the point of the game. However, I’ve heard a lot of good things about this show and I might check it out soon if I get the time.

This one also actually contains the fantastic false markup: They are conveniently distributed with one in each category. I was very sure of my guess and I was completely wrong. Connectionsif nothing else, will keep you on your toes. CUZ is also an interesting word and it sounds like it’s the name of a doll. Seeing GRAMMY, MUMMY and POP together could have been a big clue, but all I saw was a real mummy and one that probably can’t react when insulted.

This started ringing in my head until I finally figured out why. OSCAR and COOKIE are the biggest clues here in my opinion, with COUNT being a close second in this regard. SNUFFY, I actually don’t remember that wellbut the name itself suggests that this is probably some sort of children’s show character, and that would be all you need to give this character a victory lap.
