Kendrick Lamar and SZA will bypass Baltimore but perform in Landover and Pennsylvania

Rap superstar Kendrick Lamar, who is so hot these days he’s practically glowing, is leaving Baltimore out in the cold.

Lamar, who will be joined by his frequent R&B singer SZA on his 2025 Grand National Tour, is bypassing Charm City and instead playing two concerts in Pennsylvania and one in Landover.

Luckily for K-Dot fans, the May 5 concert at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, the June 16 concert at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and the tour-closing concert on June 18 at Northwest Stadium are scheduled for K-Dot fans Landover all within a two hour drive of Baltimore.

Advance sales begin on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Friday at 10 a.m.

The Grand National Tour is likely to be one of the hottest tickets of next year’s concert season. Lamar’s recently released, critically acclaimed album “GMX” recently cracked the Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming only the fourth artist in history to dominate all categories in the same week.

Only the Beatles, Taylor Swift and Lamar’s nemesis, Canadian rapper Drake, have previously achieved the same feat.

Not only did Lamar win the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Music back in September, the NFL also announced that Lamar will headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show on February 9, 2025.
