Who is the girl?
Fans are criticizing Donatella Versace for heavily editing her photos from Elton John’s charity gala premiere of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical in London over the weekend.
The 69-year-old fashion designer shared a carousel of photos from the event via Instagram on Sunday, including stylish photos of her alone in a glittering gold minidress and with famous pals like Vanessa Williams, Anna Wintour and the “Rocket Man” singer himself posing.
In one particular picture, Versace appeared “unrecognizable,” as some fans pointed out in the comments section, as she stood near a black SUV.
“Donatella said new face, who is that?” ,” one person wrote on X after seeing the edited snap.
While some of her followers suspected that she may have had to go under the knife to achieve the drastic new look, her face appeared normal in several other pictures shared from the event.
This led fans to believe that Versace had just given himself a “new face” in one of the photos with a little Photoshop.
“The first picture captivated me!! “It doesn’t look like Donatella Versace did any new work, it was just a good filter and some editing,” one user tweeted, while another joked: “Babe, wake up, the new Donatella face just appeared.” “
“False alarm everyone. Donatella Versace’s face is still the same, someone just had free time and Photoshop,” another added.
“Someone commissioned Donatella to make this change, oh my god… but no matter what she looks like, she’s still beautiful because she’s a kind and loving woman,” said a third netizen.
Although the socialite has never explicitly confirmed that she has had plastic surgery, her face appears to have changed drastically over the years.
Many plastic surgeons believe she has had Botox, a facelift and lip fillers over the years.
In an interview in 2010, Versace said she doesn’t believe in a “natural” look for women.
“I don’t even know what my natural color is. Naturally? What is natural? What is that?” she said at the time.
“I don’t believe in complete naturalness for women. Of course for me there is something to do with vegetables.”
