“I have nowhere else to go and I need help.”

Jack Veal, a 17-year-old actor who appeared as Kid Loki in Season 1 of Marvel’s “Loki” series, posted several videos on TikTok saying he was homeless and looking for a place to stay.

“Hello. I’m a famous actor, I’m 17 and homeless,” Veal said in the video. “Maybe you know me from ‘Loki’, ‘The Ending of the Fucking World’ or various other films in which I played important roles I haven’t mentioned much about what happened in my life, but I think it’s time to reveal the truth: I was abused at home, more emotionally Abuse and stuff further.”

He continued: “I didn’t have a very good upbringing. I was struggling with my mental health. I have autism, ADHD and am being evaluated for bipolar disorder and psychosis.”

Veal has also appeared in films such as “The Favourite”, “The Corrupted”, “Come Away”, “My Name Is Lenny” and the television shows “The Peripheral”, “Call the Midwife” and “Tin Star”. In the video, he says he can’t stay with his grandparents because his grandfather is “mortally ill.”

“I have nowhere else to go and I need help,” he said. “Social services refuse to help me even though I told them so. I’m desperate. I slept on the street. I’m currently sleeping in a caravan with broken windows, which is unsafe and two hours from my work, meaning I struggle to get to work every day. It’s difficult. Life is hard. At the moment I have nothing else. I am on my knees begging you to share this, take action and spread the message about how the government treats children.”

On Tuesday, after his videos went viral, Veal said he received a call from social services about possible foster care placement, and he thanked his followers who shared his videos.

“I don’t know what you guys did, but it caught on and it really, really helped me. They are taking action now. They’re actually doing something,” Veal said. “God bless you all. Thank you.”
