Kendrick Lamar really is “Not Like Us.”

Not only did the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper recently release a surprise new album, but he also hit the top of the charts and announced that he’s going on tour with a regular collaborator.

His latest effort titled “GNX” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, while five of his singles also occupied the top five spots on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart.

In order they are “Squabble Up”, GNX: “TV Off” (with Lefty Gunplay), “Luther” (with SZA), “Wacced Out Murals” and “Hey Now” (with Dody6).

“Squabble Up” is Lamar’s fifth Hot 100 No. 1 and his third of the year. With the top five singles in a week, he joins the rare company of artists Taylor Swift, Drake and The Beatles, who are the only others to ever achieve this success.

Two other tracks from the new album also made it into the top 10 – “Reincarnated” (No. 8) and “Man at the Garden” (No. 9).
