Don’t look now, but Sean McVay’s Rams appear to be a potent offense that can do some damage if they find their way to the postseason.

The most obvious and perhaps only way to get there is through the Division Crown.

The Rams are 7-6 and in second place in their division. With three division games coming up and a game with the 3-10 Jets in between, the team has every opportunity to finish the regular season strong and compete for a playoff spot.

With healthy star wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua and quarterback Matthew Stafford, who posted a 320-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Buffalo Bills, one of his best of the season, this potent Rams offense appears to be coming to life be.

The question is whether the team can beat a strong but weakened Niners squad, an Arizona team that embarrassed them early in the season and a Seattle team they beat but came up with at the right time are on the advance.

It is doable, but still a difficult route. A task that requires the defense – a challenge in Sunday’s win over Buffalo in which Josh Allen looked like an unstoppable force en route to six total touchdowns – to get to the quarterback and disrupt the opposing offense.

Even though this Rams squad still feels like a team that’s a year away from being a legitimate contender, anything can happen as the playoffs begin. That includes another magical run for Stafford and more outstanding coaching performances from McVay.

If not the Rams, then the Commanders currently have the edge over the final spot in the NFC, a shocking turnaround for a team that had the second overall pick in May’s draft for good reason.

Jayden Daniels has been a revelation, a rare rookie game-changer who has embraced offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury’s scheme and has no fear when it comes to pushing the ball down the field.

This team, like the Rams, is the type of team that has “nothing to lose” and will be doubly dangerous once Wild Card Weekend arrives.

Prediction: Rams win the NFC West, Washington clinch the final playoff spot, but not until Week 18
