Jamie Foxx jokes about Sean “Diddy” Combs in Netflix special

Once Jamie Foxx recorded his Netflix stand-up special What happened was…There have been rumors about his relationship with imprisoned hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The internet exploded when Foxx claimed during the Atlanta special that Diddy, who is in prison on numerous charges including sexual assault, extortion and sex trafficking, had poisoned him. Foxx then called the FBI, which led to the rapper’s arrest.

However, the special, which premieres today on the streamer, doesn’t go quite that far.

But Foxx brought up Diddy.

“But the internet tried to kill me. Word on the internet was that Puffy tried to kill me. “I know what you’re thinking, right?” he joked, the punch line being remarkably similar to Diddy’s other nickname. “Hell no, I left these parties early, I was out at 9pm because something doesn’t look right, it’s slippery in here.”

Foxx later joked that Diddy might be the devil. “If it was Puffy, he had a burning bottle of Johnson &… I’m just kidding,” he said.

Elsewhere in the special, Foxx addressed his medical issues in April 2023, saying he had a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
