Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow stunned spectators after Monday night’s win over the Dallas Cowboys.
There, Burrow essentially said he was “confident” the team would get fullback Tee Higgins back this offseason and that he would do everything he could to make that happen.
What that Exactly Medium is difficult to say. Maybe that means he’ll restructure his contract to make it work. Who knows?
What it does mean, however, is that Burrow is going public with his desire to have Higgins back, even though he could have easily thrown out the usual no comment and continued with the interview.
Considering Burrow has been talking about the franchise’s long-term cornerstones in recent weeks, it’s now very clear that he counts Higgins among that group.
