Jimmy Kimmel knows why Trump sent Don Jr.’s fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle packing

Although Donald Trump Jr. and right-wing media personality Kimberly Guilfoyle have not officially called off their engagement, rumors are circulating after Trump Jr. was spotted with another woman in Palm Beach on Monday; Model/influencer Bettina Anderson. The couple’s romance is reportedly an “open secret” in the area.

As Jimmy Kimmel explained in his monologue on Tuesday, “The First Boy hasn’t made any announcements about the status of his relationship with former Fox News anchor Kimberly Guilfoyle, but there sure seems to be something going on.”

He showed Donald Trump’s Truth Social post announcing that he would nominate Guilfoyle as U.S. ambassador to Greece, pointing out that the president-elect did so “less than 24 hours” after Don Jr.’s photos were published . and Anderson posted.

“He made her ambassador to one of the most remote countries,” Kimmel said.

“What kind of family is this,” Kimmel mused. “He has more relatives working in the White House right now than I do on this show.”

The Late at night The host also criticized Trump for reportedly lobbying Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to appoint his daughter-in-law Lara Trump to Marco Rubio’s soon-to-be-vacated Senate seat.

“Remember when Republicans couldn’t keep their mouths shut about Kamala Harris and her qualifications? “She doesn’t have the experience.” He only chose her because she is a black woman. Is she even a black woman?’” Kimmel recalled.

“Let me introduce Senator Lara Trump, ladies and gentlemen: She graduated from NC State with a BA in Communications and studied at the French Culinary Institute. Get this lady in government immediately,” Kimmel joked.

Referring to Lara’s much-derided music video in September, Kimmel said of the appointment, “Maybe it’s Trump’s way of telling her to please stop singing. I don’t know.”

The only positive takeaway for Kimmel was that at least it doesn’t look like the Florida Senate seat will go to former Congressman Matt Gaetz.

“From January he will host a show on OAN, One America News,” Kimmel explained.

He added: “For those who don’t know OAN, it’s like Fox News but crazier and younger, just the way Matt Gaetz likes it.”
