Mariah Carey will open the show on NFL Christmas Gameday on Netflix

So it’s only fitting that Mariah Carey will open the show at the first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday live on Netflix on December 25th.

The globally renowned artist, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, author and philanthropist with more than 19 No. 1 singles to her name will bring her signature mix of glamor and Christmas spirit ahead of the big gatherings.

When does Mariah Carey perform at NFL Christmas Gameday?

Fresh off her biggest and most spectacular Christmas tour to date, Carey will delight fans this year with a recorded performance of her record-breaking single “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” On December 9, the perennial holiday song extended its unprecedented reign atop the Billboard Hot 100 to its 15th week, fueled by massive streams, airplay and sales as the holiday season reaches its peak. The song also reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard Holiday 100 chart, reaffirming Mariah’s status as the Queen of Christmas.

Their appearance on NFL Christmas Gameday will air before the live games: The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1:00 p.m. ET, and the Baltimore Ravens will face the Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET. Carey isn’t the only music superstar you can watch on Netflix that day: Beyoncé will perform during the Ravens-Texans halftime break in her hometown of Houston.
