LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Clouds will clear a bit overnight, allowing temperatures to drop into the 20s to 30s.

On Saturday afternoon the sky will be cloudy, with high temperatures in the low 50s. Despite the clouds, it will remain dry for most of the day before rain sets in on Saturday evening.

It will continue to rain heavily from Saturday night to Sunday morning. It will be windy overnight with lows in the 40s.

Scattered showers are still forecast for Sunday, with rainfall decreasing slightly as the afternoon progresses.

Further heavy, continuous rain is expected on Monday. There will initially be a period of persistent rain for the morning, followed by a few dry (and windy) hours where temperatures can reach 60° or more!

It won’t last long as the main rain/thunderstorm belt will move in Monday evening and overnight. A total of 1 to 2 inches could fall from this rainy stretch.
