LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 has received an arrest report from the Las Vegas Police Department detailing the Las Vegas Raider DUI arrest of a player.

Justice Court records show that defense attorney Charles Snowden is charged with a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence.

Snowden’s defense attorneys said the player is expected to plead not guilty.

“Mr. Snowden will plead not guilty and we will respond in court, whichever is the appropriate forum,” said David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld.

The NFL club also issued a statement:

According to Las Vegas police, Snowden was found Monday near Rainbow Boulevard and Sunset Road.

Police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle. When officers arrived, the vehicle was locked and officers noticed a man appeared to be sleeping inside.

According to the arrest report, the man, later identified as Snowden, woke up and then went back to sleep without officers noticing him.

After about 10 minutes of knocking, the driver woke up again, turned off the car and got out.

According to police, Snowden was unsteady on his feet and had to be stopped. Police also noticed an unknown odor of an alcoholic beverage.

Snowden is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
