Jamie Foxx has spoken out after he was allegedly “struck” by flying glass during an altercation at a Los Angeles restaurant on his 57th birthday.

The comedian subtly addressed the dispute on Instagram on Sunday, writing: “The devil is busy… but I’m too blessed to be stressed.”

“The devil is a lie,” he continued in the caption. “There’s no winning here…Thank you to everyone who prays (sic) for me and cares for me…when your light shines bright…they try to bring darkness to you.”

“But they don’t know you’re built for this…the lights were shining bright,” Foxx added.

The “Dreamgirls” star also thanked fans for watching his newly released Netflix special “What Had Happened Was,” which is now at number one on the streaming platform.

“If you haven’t watched it yet, please check it out. It comes from my heart and soul,” he concluded.

On Saturday, a spokesman for Foxx told Page Six that he had been partying at Mr. Chow’s the night before when “someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth.”

“He required stitches and is recovering,” his spokesman said. “The police were called and the matter is now in the hands of law enforcement.”

Police responded to the scene shortly after 10 p.m. local time after receiving a call about an assault with a deadly weapon, according to a news release from the Beverly Hills Police Department.

Police said the attack with a deadly weapon was “unfounded” but confirmed there was a physical altercation “between the parties.”

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

An eyewitness told TMZ that customers were “rude and vulgar” toward Foxx and the singer asked them to leave him alone because he was with his family.

According to the source, that’s when someone “allegedly threw the glass that hit (Foxx) in his face.”

Ahead of the incident, the “Blame It” crooner was spotted signing autographs outside the celebrity hotspot and telling photographers that he was grateful to be alive after suffering a near-death experience last year.

Foxx opened up about his health issues days earlier in his Netflix special, which aired Tuesday.

The “Just Like Me” singer shared that he was hospitalized in April 2023 after suffering a “brain hemorrhage that led to a stroke.”

Foxx claimed he couldn’t remember some of the weeks he spent in the hospital and said doctors were unable to pinpoint the cause of the brain bleed.

“We still don’t know exactly what happened to me,” he said during an emotional speech. “All I can tell you is that I appreciate every prayer because I needed every prayer.”
