We didn’t expect the Quest 3S Black Friday deal to be this good

Meta usually releases its latest headsets towards the end of the year, and that usually means the headset itself doesn’t hit stores until it hits stores next Vacation. But this year is an exception, at least for Amazon, which is offering an impressive Black Friday sale on the Quest 3S.

Quest 3S, Meta’s newest headset, was launched just under a month and a half ago. Therefore, we weren’t expecting a significant price discount on the headset until next year.

Unfortunately, Amazon US has a very solid Quest 3S Black Friday deal: $300 for the 128GB headset (as usual), but with a $75 Amazon digital credit. (Be sure to click the Redeem button on the product page or enter code QUEST75 at checkout.)

Considering that Amazon credit is worth as much as cash to many shoppers, you’re pretty close to buying the headset for $225, making it even more affordable than a Nintendo Switch.

This Quest 3S deal at Amazon also gets you the usual benefits of a free copy of Batman: Arkham Shadow (which we really liked in our test) and a three-month trial of Quest+ (which gives you access to a library of select VR games).

What’s worth noting is that this Quest 3S Black Friday deal only applies to the Quest 3S model (128GB). Unfortunately, there is no such offer for either the 256 GB model or the more expensive Quest 3.

Why is this a great offer? Well, the Quest 3S already offers unbeatable value for money considering what it offers at an attractive price of $300. Given that the headset only launched last month, we really weren’t expecting any major deals on the headset this holiday season.
