Road closures in New Orleans due to fog

Due to the heavy fog, several traffic warnings are in effect for motorists on Wednesday morning.

Louisiana State Police said dense fog made Interstate 55 South and Interstate 10 impassable at the Bonnet Carré Spillway.

Traffic is now moving along the Bonnet Carre Spillway after being closed for several hours. Portions of I-55 South remain closed.

A rolling convoy will remain in operation on the Causeway until further notice.
