Netflix's No. 1 series "La Palma" hasn't had a storm with viewers - here are 3 better disaster thrillers with over 80% on Rotten Tomatoes

Norwegian disaster series La Palma has entered Netflix’s top 10 TV show charts and become this week’s most-watched series. This means it is more popular than the new black comedy Not a good deedwho landed just behind.

In La Palma, A Norwegian family on vacation in the Canary Islands is in danger when a young researcher discovers worrying signs of an impending volcanic eruption that could trigger the largest tsunami the world has ever seen.

Although La Palma is currently the number one show on the best streaming service, but it doesn’t make our list of the best Netflix shows. In fact, it’s pretty terrible, as evidenced by its low 35% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. One reviewer even wrote, “This series is terrible, unrealistic to the point of farce. You don’t care about the characters and there’s no reason to because they’re indestructible.” Ouch! So if La Palma If you weren’t impressed either, here are three better disaster thrillers with over 80% on Rotten Tomatoes that you can watch instead.

Although I don’t normally watch this, I have to say this Flood is a well-written and realistic piece of television that will keep you captivated.
