As usual, the Cowboys faced the Giants in the second Thanksgiving game of the day on Thursday, but Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb wasn’t on the field the entire time. His first-half performance was memorable as he was credited with three drops, his most in a game this year.
His performance in the second half is even stranger. After landing awkwardly on a diving catch attempt, he didn’t see the field much again. No injury was announced, but when he was shown on the sidelines he was not wearing a helmet and often rotated his shoulder, seemingly trying to stretch it.

Is CeeDee Lamb injured?
Officially we don’t know. It’s assumed he is, but the Cowboys haven’t placed him on injured status. However, Lamb did not go into the medical tent. Even the Fox announcing team had sideline reporter Erin Andrews inquire about his absence but received no information.
He’s likely dealing with a serious injury, but Dallas had a two-possession lead when Lamb left the game. He was already recovering from a problem in his right AC joint. The nature of his collision with the turf may indicate that he has aggravated this disease.

The Cowboys likely exercised caution to ensure Lamb didn’t put his shoulder in further danger. Officially, Lamb only spent time on the sidelines. Unofficially, he kept swaying and swaying his shoulder, making it appear as if he had some sort of illness, even if it was mild.
After the game ended on Thursday, Lamb was seen jogging to the locker room. He still seemed to favor his right shoulder.

Dallas owner Jerry Jones appeared to agree with internet sleuths’ assessments that Lamb suffered an injury during the game.
