Earlier this year, Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s global chief food innovation officer, said ahead of the release of the chain’s Cantina Chicken menu, “We knew our fans wanted more chicken.”

And so starting Thursday and while supplies last, Taco Bell will be giving Michigan fans what they want.

Taco Bell’s own version of chicken nuggets

According to Taco Bell, its chicken nuggets are marinated in “savory jalapeño buttermilk flavor” and breaded with a mixture of breadcrumbs and crispy tortilla chips.

Because chicken nuggets need sauce, the new menu offering is accompanied by three dipping options, including jalapeño honey mustard, a spicy ranch sauce made in collaboration with Hidden Valley, and the Chain.
