NFL Week 16 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)

NFL Week 16 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)

Congratulations on moving into the next round of the playoffs! Or good luck next year! Anyway, below is the weather for this weekend’s games. We’re now in full-fledged December mode, so you can look forward to some cool games (except the Miami games).

Remember that the weather is just one part of the huge decision-making process that determines your fantasy lineup. Weather shouldn’t be the only factor, but you need to know it to have an advantage!

Saturday games

Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs

LOW impact. It will be cold (get used to the word “COLD” in this article), but the wind will be light and there will be no rain. The maximum temperature during the game is around 30°C

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens

MEDIUM impact. Aside from the cold temperatures (expected to be around 35° during the game), there will also be quite strong winds in the area. Sustained speeds in the mid teens with gusts into the low 30s. With these speeds, Chris Boswell and Justin Tucker’s managers take more risks, especially with longer kicks. We’ve seen Boswell handle this type of wind this season, so stick with him. There is a small chance that it will snow, but it won’t be enough to affect the game.

Play in the early afternoon

Cleveland Browns @ Cincinnati Bengals

LOW impact. Another beautiful but cold game. No rain and light wind, high temperatures will be in the mid 30s. There are no weather worries here.

Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears

LOW Effects. There will be some wind during game time, with sustained winds in the low teens and gusts into the low 20s. Other than that, there are no concerns about the weather during the game. It doesn’t rain or snow and the temperatures are below 30 degrees.

Los Angeles Rams @ New York Jets

LOW Effects. It’s getting cold in New York. Maybe this is revenge for the last two weeks in Florida for the Jets? Either way, high temperatures in the mid 20s. Winds in the single digits and no rain.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Commanders

LOW Effects. Another nice game, albeit a cool one. No rain and light wind. High temperatures will be in the low 30s. Start all your usual players.

Arizona Cardinals @ Carolina Panthers

LOW Effects. Calm winds, no rain and temperatures in the low 40s. Things don’t get much better in December. There are no weather problems here.

Afternoon games

Minnesota Vikings @ Seattle Seahawks

HIGH impact. Another wet game in Seattle. Rain is expected throughout the game – one saving grace is that it won’t be too windy. Expect some ball security issues affecting virtually all aspects of the game. You can’t use a Justin Jefferson or JSN, but a flex at kicker and QB might be in order if you have an available option.

New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills

LOW impact. Luckily – or unfortunately, if you like bad weather games – we only miss a snowstorm moving through Buffalo. It will be a cold game with temperatures in the high teens and light winds. Apart from the cold, no other weather problems are expected.

San Francisco 49ers @ Miami Dolphins

LOW impact. Here’s the winner for best weather of the weekend. Light wind, no rain and temperatures in the 70s.

Monday night game

New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers

MEDIUM impact. It will snow in Green Bay on Monday morning, but it looks like most of it will be gone by game time. Since there is still some snow left, it can be assumed that the running game will be the focus. So that’s good news for the Josh Jacobs managers out there. Expect light winds and low temperatures (in the low 20s, brr!).

The weather is a dynamic thing and can change! Keep an eye on your local weather source before kickoff to see if anything changes significantly. Good luck!
