AAA is activating the Tow to Go program for year-end holidays on Tuesday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – This holiday season, don’t make decisions you might regret – especially ones that could have a tragic impact on the life of an innocent person. To ensure your safety, AAA offers a solution to help disabled people responsibly get home for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule and New Year’s Eve.

AAA will be working to help stranded motorists while keeping impaired drivers off the roads this holiday season.

Tuesday evening, December 24th, Auto Club Group will activate its Tow to Go program in Florida and other select states.

“If you are faced with the decision to be unable to drive, put down the keys and pick up the phone to call Tow to Go,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman for AAA – The Auto Club Group. “AAA will then send a truck to take you and your vehicle to a safe location within 10 miles.”

It’s important to note that during the upcoming holidays, AAA service technicians are expected to respond to calls from more than 860,000 drivers experiencing problems with their cars. So treat Tow to Go as a last resort.

Plan a safe ride home by appointing a designated driver or rideshare driver before the party.

  • Tow to Go is active from Tuesday, December 24th, 6 p.m. to Thursday, January 2nd, 6 a.m.

  • For the service, Call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO or (855) 286-9246.
