Travis Kelce Steals the Show in Adam Sandler’s New ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ Teaser

Travis Kelce stole the show with a newly released teaser for Adam Sandler’s film Happy Gilmore 2, posted to the actor’s Instagram on Wednesday.

“Happy Hanukkah! Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! And happy Gilmore everyone!!!!!!!” Sandler captioned the video.

The promotional video begins with a shot of Sandler, 58, walking onto a golf course and swinging a club.

The text appeared above the video: “Christmas greetings from Netflix and a happy new year.”

The 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end is then shown wearing a waiter’s uniform and saluting Sandler’s iconic figure.

“It’s nice to see you again, Mr. Gilmore,” Kelce tells the “Mr. Deeds” stars in the short clip.

Several fans flooded the comments section of the post to celebrate Kelce’s role in the flick.

“IS THAT TRAVIS KELCE?!?!?!?” one person wrote.

“It’s suuuuuure! ☺️,” one fan replied.

“Travis!!!!!!! 😍,” cheered a third.

“Travis in Happy Gilmore 2!!” another person celebrated in a post on X.

Sandler revealed that the athlete would make a cameo in the highly anticipated sequel to his 1993 comedy during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in August.

At the time, Sandler called the NFL star “very nice,” adding, “What a tall, good-looking guy – and funny as hell and cool. “He’s a stud.”

Kelce made his acting debut earlier this year in Grotesquerie opposite Niecy Nash.

However, other notable faces also appeared in the teaser, including singer Bad Bunny, Eminem, Margaret Qualley, Nick Swardson, Kid Cudi and Benny Safdie, who directed Sandler in Uncut Gems.

Julie Bowen, who plays Gilmore’s lover Virginia Venit, and Christopher McDonald, who plays the golfer’s nemesis Shooter McGavin, also reprise their roles from the first film.
