Model Dayle Haddon dies after suspected carbon monoxide leak

Former supermodel, actress and humanitarian Dayle Haddon died Friday after a carbon monoxide leak occurred at a home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, according to police.

Police in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Greater Philadelphia, began investigating the property at 6:30 a.m. Friday after a resident called 911 to report a 76-year-old man lying on the ground floor and passed out a detached “in-law” suite.

According to the police report, the unidentified man was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. His condition was not immediately available. According to the report, a second victim, a 76-year-old woman, was found dead in the bedroom of the detached suite on the second floor.

Bucks County Deputy Coroner Eliot Gross confirmed to USA TODAY that the female victim was Haddon. According to Gross, toxicology reports are expected on Saturday to determine the cause of death.

According to the police report, volunteer firefighters on scene discovered “high levels of carbon monoxide” on the property. Two paramedics were taken to the hospital for carbon monoxide exposure and one was treated at the scene.

CBS News reported that the home is owned by Haddon’s daughter, former journalist Ryan Haddon, and Ryan’s husband, actor Marc Blucas.
