Jaylen Brown showed no mercy to his colleague Jalen with his latest dunk.

Brown, the NBA’s runner-up in the 2023-24 Slam Dunk Contest, reminded everyone Friday night how relentless he can be at the rim.

The Celtics star was undefended the entire way to the basket with less than nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter against the Bulls. No one on the field for Chicago touched Brown until it was too late, when he jumped up from the middle of the field and posted up the Bulls’ Jalen Smith, hand on his opponent’s chest and all, with 8:43 left.

Check out the vicious one-handed dunk:

The massive slam gave Boston a 108-105 lead at the time and prompted a memorable reaction from the Celtics’ televised play-by-play voice.

“Oh my God! The Gravedigger has arrived in Chicago!” Shouted NBC Sports Boston’s Drew Carter.

Brown appeared to let out a scream of his own right in Smith’s face after the poster.

This isn’t the first time he’s embarrassed other NBA players with his right arm, and it certainly won’t be the last. Brown has a history of nasty dunks against stars from Rudy Gobert to Donovan Mitchell to LeBron James.

His posters became more and more relentless over time, eventually landing him in the dunk contest last season. Brown made it to the championship round, but ultimately lost to Mac McClung of the Magic.

Given his latest poster, perhaps the league will ask Brown to participate in this season’s dunk contest as well.
