Team news West Ham vs Arsenal: Gabriel starts

With a victory over West Ham United in the late kick-off at the London Stadium, Arsenal can move – at least temporarily – into second place.

The action starts at 17:30 GMT.

The Hammers are unchanged since Monday’s 2-0 win at Newcastle United.

Jeanclear Todibo recovers from the injury he sustained in that game and is now in the starting lineup.

But the big team news for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers concerns the visitors.

Gabriel Magalhaes starts despite coming off “unwell” during the UEFA Champions League win over Sporting in midweek.

Although Gabriel is fit, Mikel Arteta will have to change again from Tuesday evening Thomas Partey is out due to a muscle injury.

Georginho takes his place.

Inside Arteta’s other change from the 5-1 win: Leandro Trossard replaced Gabriel Martinelli on the left.

Mikel Merino is another absentee: He is missing due to knee problems.

Bukayo Saka starts as expected. He was signed by over 750,000 managers ahead of Friday’s deadline, making him the most-bought midfielder of Gameweek 13.

The Gunners won this game 6-0 last season, with five of their players – including Saka with two goals – scoring in double figures. Gabriel and William Saliba were also on the top scorer list.
