A frightening moment: A shooter shows up at the home of right-wing extremist influencer Nick Fuentes

Far-right influencer Nick Fuentes has shared footage of an armed man attempting to gain entry to his home in what he describes as an assassination attempt.

The 26-year-old posted clips on his X-profile about the incident, which he said occurred late Wednesday night near his home in Berwyn, Illinois.

The clips shared show a masked person with a crossbow and a pistol outside his home, at one point shouting “Yo Nick.”

Other footage shows the man trying to break down a side door of the property and explore the backyard of the house, the address of which was revealed online last month.

Fuentes’ report agrees with the statement from local police, who say they shot and killed a person they identified as John Lyons on the same street.

Berwyn police said they responded to reports of a man with a gun who forced his way into a separate home and shot two dogs there.

He then ran into a nearby yard where he defied police orders to stop before opening fire on police officers, who shot him.

Officials say he was the suspect in the fatal shooting of three people in Mahomet, about 120 miles southwest of Chicago, before traveling to Berwyn.

“The shooter carried a pistol, a crossbow and incendiary devices. I think he wanted to kill me. He’s dead now. I’m fine!’

Fuentes also said that he will now be moving because of the incident and that he will have 24-hour security to protect himself.

He has also asked his followers to help cover the cost of private security, which he said is $13,000 a week, and to rebuild his studio.

He would only accept cryptocurrency donations and explained that he was excluded from banking services.

Fuentes said he was livestreaming, adding: “Doxing is not a game. “This nihilistic lynch mob behavior must end before someone else is killed.”

DailyMail.com has reached out to police to confirm whether Fuentes was indeed the target of the incident and the man seen in the clips was the same man involved in the shooting.

They said in an initial news release that Lyons was shot by officers after he disobeyed orders to stop in the yard of a property.

His neighbors told the Chicago Sun Times that they heard screaming outside their window late Wednesday night.

Bianca, who did not want her last name used, said: “It was like listening to a movie.” All I heard was the police shouting “John” and screaming: “Put your damn hands up.”

Another neighbor named Matt, who also did not want his second name used, said he spoke with Fuentes, who told him the gunman tried to kill him.

Bianca added that she believes Fuentes was the shooter’s target, adding: “(His) address is spoofed and then this guy ends up here.”

“I don’t think it was a coincidence that someone who killed three people down south ended up here. “This guy is miles away, why is he here?”

This incident would not be the first time Fuentes was confronted in his own home after his personal information was leaked online.

The Berwyn Police Department responded to the address last month after Marla Rose, 57, showed up at his apartment following a controversial social media post.

After President-elect Donald Trump won the election, Fuentes posted on his X-page: “Your body, my choice,” sparking widespread anger.

Some social media users responded by sharing pictures of his house with the caption, “Your house, our choice.”

Footage taken by Rose and widely shared online shows Fuentes opening the door and spraying her with what she claims was pepper spray.

Rose claims he pepper-sprayed her, pushed her onto the concrete outside his house and broke her phone.

According to a police report filed the next day, Rose had no visible physical injuries but had “watery” eyes.

He was later arrested for assault and proudly shared his mugshot on his social media pages.

According to the Sun Times, Fuentes, his attorney and Rose all appeared at the Fourth District Courthouse in Maywood for a brief hearing via Zoom on Thursday.

The judge presiding over the case ordered the couple not to have contact with each other while the case was pending and set a status hearing for Jan. 16.
