‘A game circled on my calendar’: Ducks’ Gauthier ready to face Flyers for first time

It’s not often that a 20-year-old gets a chance for a revenge game in his second NHL season, but Gauthier made it clear that he’s ready to take advantage of that chance against his former team when the Anaheim Ducks face off for the first time face the Flyers because the deal in January brought him to the West Coast.

“With everything that’s happened, it’s obviously a game that’s high on my calendar and I’m really looking forward to playing,” Gauthier told reporters on Friday. “There was a lot of anticipation for the game, so I’m ready to go out there and play my game.”
