“A special relationship with Hansi Flick” – Bayern Munich star again in Barcelona’s sights

La Liga giants Barcelona are once again closely monitoring developments surrounding the future of Bayern Munich star Leroy Sané.

This is according to Sports Diarywho gave an insight into the situation on Saturday.

It is of course common knowledge that Barcelona are looking for reinforcements on the wing ahead of next season.

A shortlist with names like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Rafael Leão and Nico Williams has long been drawn up.

However, if a deal for one of these three areas is not financially viable, a cheaper option will be sought.

And it is expected that in this case the aforementioned Leroy Sané will take center stage.

According to a report from Sport, the German international Sané is back on the program at the Camp Nou before his contract with FC Bayern Munich expires at the end of the season.

The former Manchester City player, who is said to have a “special relationship” with Barcelona coach Hansi Flick, is seen as the type of difference player who could make the difference for the Blaugrana in tight games in the 2025/26 season.

No concrete steps have been taken towards a deal for the 28-year-old yet, but Deco and the Barca transfer team are watching from afar and are ready to pounce if the opportunity arises.
