A triple alarm fire was reported on Sargent Road

Firefighters battle a three-alarm fire at a multimillion-dollar home in Brookline on Thursday.

The fire at 90 Sargent Road broke out before 11 a.m. and quickly triggered three alarms, according to authorities.

Photos from the scene show smoke billowing from the large colonial-style brick house as firefighters use aerial ladders and hoses to put out the flames.

The single-family home is valued at $13 million and was purchased in 2012 for more than $3 million, according to city appraisal records. The 13,000 square foot residence is two and a half stories tall.

The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom residence was built in 1928, according to city records.

According to a post from Cambridge Fire X, the Cambridge Fire Department responded to the fire on the second alarm to provide mutual aid.
