Aaron Rodgers gives the Bears incredibly obvious advice amid coaching chaos

This season was another successful one for the Green Bay Packers, once again without quarterback Aaron Rodgers under center.

The Packers are proving for the second year in a row that they are a successful organization that knows how to find and develop successful football players. Meanwhile, a certain division rival is having a tough few days.

In his last appearance on the Pat McAfee ShowFormer Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was asked about the Chicago Bears and everything that has happened since the Thanksgiving Day debacle and the final firing of Matt Eberflus.

“What mindset would you develop with a quarterback like that?” Rodgers was asked about the current head coaching position with Caleb Williams and the Bears.

“If you think he’s the face of the franchise and the future of the franchise, then you need someone who can work with him and connect with him on a personal level,” the quarterback responded.

“I think you need some stability,” Rodgers said, hitting the nail on the head.

“…hiring the right person as general manager and head coach and allowing them to do their jobs with the full support of the organization,” he concluded.

It’s pretty weird to hear everything Rodgers has said when it comes to what the Bears need to do to find their next head coach, because as we know all too well, Chicago has been anything but “stable” for quite some time now. .

If you just scroll through social media and read about Bears fans drowning in misery, that’s exactly what you’ll find out. The Bears continue to do things backwards as an organization and in ways that simply shouldn’t be done.

So Rodgers is saying the Bears need stability and need to hire the right head coach while also getting full support from ownership and the organization? That’s rich.

It’s rich because it hasn’t fully happened in decades.

It’s rich… and it’s the most obvious advice you can give to an organization that’s unlikely to take it given recent history.

It’s also fun to observe the current state of the bears. You might think about who Caleb Williams’ third offensive coordinator would be in a year when this season is over. It’s another season in which the Bears have a rookie quarterback whose head coach was fired – that’s three in a row if you’re counting at home.

Green Bay has now been a model of consistency for six years under head coach Matt LaFleur.

As it stands, LaFleur has a 65-30 record as head coach of the Packers, while the Bears have a 36-59 record. LaFleur’s Packers had a winning record in five of his six seasons, while the Bears had no success.

Sure, Rodgers doesn’t play for the Packers anymore, but he will forever. And fans can’t help but listen whenever he speaks because there will always be something noteworthy.

Thanks to Rodgers, Packers fans have one more reason to be thankful this time of year. Not only do they not have to deal with an aging quarterback who is power-hungry, but they are not the bears.
