Adam Sandler’s Explosive Golfer is back in the Netflix trailer

Netflix has a little surprise Christmas gift for Adam Sandler fans that’s been 28 years in the making.

On Wednesday, the streamer shared a trailer for it as part of its “NFL Christmas Gameday” live event Have fun with Gilmore 2the upcoming sequel to the 1996 Sandler sports comedy that propelled the comedian to superstardom. In the sequel, Sandler, Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, Dennis Dugan, Allen Covert and Ben Stiller reprise their roles from the original hit comedy.

McDonald will reprise the role of professional golfer Shooter McGavin and Bowen will reprise the role of Gilmore’s love interest Virginia Venit.
