Adam Schefter criticizes Doug Gottlieb’s coaching record during social media feud

Doug Gottlieb was just attacked on social media by Adam Schefter.

On Monday night, Gottlieb ripped off a report from Schefter that claimed Sacramento State was in talks to hire Michael Vick as head football coach and had raised $50 million in zero-dollar funding to enter the FBS. Schefter shot back mercilessly.

Schefter initially responded with a refutation of Gottlieb’s post, but then the ESPN NFL insider went for the jugular.

Ouch. This is absolute mistreatment of Schefter.

Gottlieb is in his first season as head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and things haven’t gone well. The Phoenix are 2-10, 0-3 in the Horizon League and, as Schefter pointed out, have suffered seven straight losses.

Despite his coaching duties, Gottlieb continues to host his daily Fox Sports radio show.
