Andhra Cricket Promises Heroic Nitish Reddy Rs 25 Lakh

After Sunrisers Hyderabad’s heroic performance in the recent edition of the IPL, Nitish Kumar Reddy’s fortunes changed almost completely. He is now the best performing player in the Indian cricket team, which is a rather hostile country for touring teams to Australia.

Ready took his heroics to the next level with his magnificent batting performance in the second innings of the fourth Test match. The compact right-hander scored his maiden Test century in this innings, taking India out of what could have been a miserable situation.

Given this heroic performance by Nitish Kumar Reddy, the Andhra Cricket Association has done something remarkable. ACA Chairman Kesineni Chinni announced a financial contribution of Rs 25 lakh to Nitish. The cash reward will be given to him soon after he returns to India after completing the ongoing Australia series.

The Andhra Cricket Association has made it clear that it will continue to support Nitish Reddy for his invaluable contribution to Indian cricket. It is good to see that the Andhra cricket board, which has faced repeated allegations of mistreatment of players in recent years, is now changing its way of working.
