Anna Kane is identified as Jane Doe in the sexual assault trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs

Anna Kane, the ex-wife of NHL player Evander Kane, has been revealed as one of the anonymous women who sued Sean “Diddy” Combs for sexual assault, according to newly filed court documents. Anna, previously listed as Jane Doe, disclosed her identity as required by the court to proceed with the lawsuit.

Kane claims she was sexually assaulted by Diddy and others in 2003, when she was just 17 and still in high school. She claims that Harve Pierre, president of Bad Boy Entertainment, approached her in Detroit, praised her looks and invited her to New York City on a private jet. She claims that upon arrival she was taken to a recording studio, given drugs and alcohol and then attacked.

In a statement through her lawyer, Kane expressed her determination to move forward despite the challenges that come with going public. “The defendant’s demand that I give my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I will not be intimidated. I am ready to move forward and hold those who harmed me accountable,” she said.

Sean Combs has denied all allegations. The lawsuit comes amid growing legal troubles for the music mogul, who has faced several lawsuits in recent weeks, including another high-profile case involving singer Cassie, which was settled in November 2023.

Anna Kane married Evander Kane in 2018 and the couple has one child together. Their marriage ended in divorce in July 2021.
