Ohio State fell five spots to a season-low No. 7 in the AP Top 25 college football poll on Sunday and Miami dropped out of the top 10 to No. 14 after losing both crucial games to teams that were unranked and finished their regular season.

Oregon was a unanimous No. 1 for the fifth straight week. No. 2 Texas, No. 3 Penn State and No. 4 Notre Dame all moved up one spot, as did Georgia, which moved back into the top five and top five Matches in both the SEC (Longhorns-Bulldogs) and Big Ten prepared (Ducks-Nittany Lions) championship games.

No. 6 Tennessee also moved up one spot.

The Buckeyes fell out of the top four for the first time this season after being defeated 13-10 at home by Michigan, which cost them a berth in next Saturday’s Big Ten Championship Game. It was their first loss to an unranked team under Ryan Day.

No. 8 SMU, No. 9 Indiana and No. 10 Boise State all moved up one spot. The Broncos are a top-10 team for the first time since 2011.

Miami also lost a berth in the conference title game, losing 42-38 at Syracuse and sending Clemson to the ACC Championship after a non-conference loss to South Carolina. The Hurricanes finished eighth last week.

The Orange are No. 23 and in the top 25 for the first time since October 30, 2022.
