Arnold Schwarzenegger looks like Santa Claus in the upcoming Christmas film

“Santa Claus is coming to town!” Schwarzenegger captioned a photo with co-star Alan Ritchson on Instagram on December 17.

“It’s amazing filming The Man with the Bag with @alanritchson,” he continued. “Our director @adamshankman is one of the funniest directors I’ve ever worked with. New York City is a great host, working with @amazonmgmstudios is a joy, and I can’t wait to share all this holiday cheer with each and every one of you.”

Fans also liked what they saw.

“From Terminator to Santa Claus, that’s the way to go 💪🏻,” one person wrote in the comments section.

“This is the Hallmark Christmas movie we deserve 🤣,” another person joked.

“Arnold finally makes Alan look normal-sized,” someone else pointed out.

“Beard routine please,” another user asked.

Amazon MGM Studios posted the same photo on Instagram, and while Schwarzenegger certainly looks like Santa Claus with his full white beard, it’s not clear if he’ll be playing him.

“When Santa’s magic bag is stolen, he resorts to his naughty list to find Vance, a former thief, to help him get it back,” reads a description of the film on IMDb.

There is no release date for the film.

Schwarzenegger is no stranger to Christmas films. In the 1996 comedy “Jingle All the Way,” he played a father determined to make his son the most sought-after action figure of the holiday season, which leads to all sorts of shenanigans as he competes with his father Sinbad in their search for the toy.
