Ashley McBryde rides toward the spirit of the West with “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs.”

Ashley McBryde has released “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs,” an ode to the spirit of the West and the values that shaped it, available now via Warner Music Nashville.

“Cowboys are the ones who do what needs to be done before an emergency occurs,” McBryde said. “If you were just where you are, doing what you say, and meaning what you say when you say it, it would make a lot of things easier.”

Produced by John Osborne“Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs” swells with longing from the first touch on the violin strings – a fitting introduction for McBryde and his co-authors Chris Harris And Patrick Savage explored the shared feeling of something missing, along with the desire for meaning and reconnection in a changing world.

“This was about where we live and the genre we love, and the realization that the horse I was riding had been put out to pasture,” McBryde explains. “Instead of telling us, ‘Work ethic is out the window, compliance is all but dead and idealism is gone,’ it was easier to express that by saying there is no Wild West. That’s all gone.”

McBryde will perform on Friday, December 13th Cody Johnson at the MGM Grand Garden Arena before joining him on his Leather Deluxe Tour in 2025, including festival dates at Stagecoach, Country Thunder Arizona and Country Thunder Florida. For tickets and more information, visit ashleymcbryde.com.
