Auburn quarterback Hank Brown commits to Iowa

Iowa added a quarterback from the transfer portal. Former Auburn QB Hank Brown committed to the Hawkeyes on Friday. He was at the Cy-Hawk men’s basketball game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Thursday night. The redshirt freshman started two games at Auburn. He threw for 403 yards, 6 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Brown will join the team in January and has three years of eligibility remaining. The 6-4 QB comes from Wheaton, Illinois, the same hometown as offensive coordinator Tim Lester. Three different players started at quarterback for Iowa in 2024.
