Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John hits theaters today, December 25. The film is a remake of the Tamil film Theri starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. The Tamil film was released in 2016 and was directed by Atlee. It was his second film. Atlee presents “Baby John”, directed by Kalees. On the eve of Baby John’s release, Vijay went to X and sent his best wishes to Atlee and the cast. He hoped that “Baby John” would be a box office success.

Varun also replied to Vijay. He said, “Thank you very much Thalapathy Vijay sir 🙏. We will always remain babies close to you ❤️#babyjohn.” Keerthy Suresh also thanked Vijay. “Sirrrr!! Coming from you means a lot!! Thank you for your wishes! ☺️🙏🏼,” she wrote.

Directed by Kalees, the makers of Baby John hired a team of eight international action directors to choreograph the adrenaline-pumping sequences. The eight action directors Anl Arasu, Stunt Silva, ⁠Anbariv, ⁠Yannick Ben, ⁠Sunil Rodrigues, ⁠Kaloyan Vodenicharov, ⁠Manohar Verma, Bronwin October has choreographed eight massive action scenes in the film.

Baby John stars Varun Dhawan, award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav. Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee and Jyoti Deshpande.
