Balboa Park December Nights, San Diego’s largest free holiday festival, transforms our cultural heart into the most incredible celebration of the year. Expected to attract nearly 350,000 people, the park is bursting with energy, music and countless ways to make this season unforgettable!

A festival that offers everything

For two epic days, seemingly every corner of the park comes to life! We’re talking live bands that will have you dancing the night away, delicious food from almost every country and ethnicity, and cultural performances that will leave you speechless.

And just when you think it can’t get any better – boom! The museums open their doors for free evening hours and let you discover breathtaking exhibitions that you have previously missed.

Want to add some good karma to your festival vibe? This year’s celebration includes a great sock drive partnership between SDG&E and the City of San Diego to support PATH San Diego’s unsheltered neighbors.

Drop off your new sock donations at the SDG&E booth (just look for the super cool all-electric truck in Plaza de Panama), at the Toyota Sienna sled, or grab a few pairs to have at the Merge 4 booth or Balboa Park Visitors Center to donate.
