This comes as the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer is set to open the halftime show of the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans NFL game on Christmas Day in her hometown at NRG Stadium.

On X and Instagram, Beyoncé released a promotional clip to promote the performance, which received over 3.5 million views.

In the promotional video, the singer can be seen playing the banjo while sitting on a football field. However, as soon as she takes off her sunglasses, the screen begins to buffer to acknowledge the streaming service’s previous challenges during the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight in November.

The clip then ends with Beyoncé winking as the Texans and Ravens logos and the Netflix logo appear. “Sending you great joy and love this Cowboy Christmas Eve,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “See you tomorrow in my city HTX.”

In response to her post, Netflix quipped, “Now wait a minute.” They even added “roasted by Beyoncé 12.24.24” to their X-bio.

Ravens vs. Texans game

The Ravens-Texans game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. ET. Beyoncé hasn’t performed a single song from her album “Cowboy Carter” live since the album’s release in March.

In return for exclusive Christmas Day gaming rights, Netflix paid $75 million for the three-season deal that includes the games. The agreement also includes broadcasting at least one Christmas Day NFL game in 2025 and 2026.

In addition to this game, Netflix will also broadcast a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh at 1 p.m. ET.
