It was a family affair!

Pop icon Beyoncé paraded her daughter Blue Ivy during her halftime performance on Christmas Day, but her husband Jay-Z didn’t appear on the show – following his legal battle.

The founder of Roc Nation, 55, was not on screen at all during the lively performance at NRG Stadium in Houston on Wednesday, December 25, as Texas battled the Boston Ravens.

Wearing a one-piece white bodysuit and a cowgirl hat, the superstar belted out her hits alongside Post Malone and Shaboozey just weeks after her husband, real name Shawn Carter, was accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old with Sean of raping girls. “Diddy” Combs at an afterparty after the Video Music Awards in 2000.

Jay-Z denied the “vile” allegations and called the lawsuit an “extortion attempt.”

The NFL — which partnered with Roc Nation in 2019 to make the company the league’s “live music entertainment strategist” — is sticking by him despite the scandal.

“We are aware of the civil allegations and Jay Z’s really strong response to them,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said at a Dec. 11 press conference. “Of course we know that there will be legal disputes.” But from our perspective, nothing will change in our relationship with them, nor in our preparations for the next Super Bowl.”

Since the partnership, Jay-Z’s record label has produced the Super Bowl halftime show every year, which includes Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming performance on February 9, 2025 in New Orleans.

The “Empire State of Mind” rapper dropped out just one day after amending the lawsuit — originally filed against Diddy in October — to include him.

On December 9, Jay-Z stood with his head held high alongside his family at the premiere of Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King” at the famed Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

The music mogul smiled as if he wasn’t fazed by the allegations as he posed on the carpet with Beyoncé, who voices Nala, and her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, 12, who plays the voice of lion cub Kiara.

Jay-Z’s mother-in-law Tina Knowles was also by his side at the premiere after claiming she was “hacked” when a post that appeared to show she liked a story about the allegations against him went viral.

In the recently amended lawsuit, filed Dec. 8 in New York, a woman identified only as “Jane Doe” claimed that the rappers took turns attacking her at an afterparty following the 2000 VMAs, while one did not named female celebrity was watching. The woman said she was only 13 years old at the time of the alleged assault.

Jay-Z almost immediately denied the allegations, issuing a statement that his only sorrow “is for my family.”

In addition to Blue Ivy, he and Beyoncé have twins Rumi and Sir, 7.

“My wife and I need to sit down with our children, one of whom is at the age when their friends will certainly see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims and explain the cruelty and greed of young people,” he said in a statement released on Roc Nation’s X account (formerly Twitter), read in part.
