Beyoncé ended her performance with the hit “Texas Hold ‘Em,” bringing Blue Ivy to the stage. She changed the lyrics and addressed her daughter: “Then turn me to the middle, Blue, I can’t read your mind.” They then danced before Beyonce climbed onto a platform with a huge banner that read “Bang.” Beyonce and Blue Ivy recently lent their voices to Mufasa: The Lion King, Disney’s prequel to the 2019 blockbuster.

The live performance, which took place on Christmas Day 2024 during Netflix’s first NFL Christmas Game Day, will now be available to stream for those who missed the live event, according to Netflix’s official announcement post on social media.

The performance took place in Beyonce’s hometown of Houston, Texas, during the Texans vs. Ravens game at NRG Stadium.

Produced by Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, the performance featured a dynamic and varied setlist, including titles such as 16 Carriages, Blackbird, American Requiem, Ya Ya, Spaghetti/Riverdance, Levi’s Jeans and Jolene.

Adding to the excitement of the performance, Beyoncé was joined on stage by a stellar cast of collaborators, including Post Malone, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer and Tiera Kennedy.

Beyonce’s performance also included a powerful tribute to Texas culture and heritage, with notable appearances from special guests such as Mexican cowgirl Melanie Rivera, bull riding legend Myrtis Dightman Jr., as well as Miss Rodeo Texas Princess 2004 and Miss Rodeo Texas 2015.

To make the spectacle even grander, Texas Southern University’s Ocean of Soul Marching Band, comprised of 200 talented musicians, provided a lively and energetic accompaniment to Beyonce’s performance.

This isn’t the first time Beyonce has wowed audiences at a major sporting event. Known for her legendary performances, she has headlined two Super Bowl halftime shows: Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 and Super Bowl 50 in 2016.
