Beyonce praises Blue Ivy at Mufasa premiere amid Jay Z rape allegations

Beyonce praises her daughter Blue Ivy Carter for her role in Mufasa while there is a controversy surrounding the husband Jay Z after rape allegations were made against him.

On Monday, December 9, the singer took to social media to gush about the couple’s 12-year-old daughter, sharing photos of it on Instagram Mufasa premiere, which took place earlier in the evening in Hollywood, California.

“My beautiful little girl. “This is your night,” Beyoncé, 43, wrote alongside a series of photos of Blue Ivy posing on the red carpet in a floor-length gold dress. For her part, Beyoncé matched her eldest daughter and rocked a black and gold cut-out ensemble.

In the film, which hits theaters on Friday, December 20, Blue Ivy voices the young lioness Kiara, while Beyoncé is the voice of the lioness Nala. The animated adventure serves as a sequel to the 2019 live-action adaptation The Lion King.

Jay-Z made his first public appearance after being accused of raping a 13-year-old girl with Sean “Diddy” Combs in the early 2000s. The 55-year-old rapper appeared alongside his wife Beyoncé, the couple’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter, and his mother-in-law Tina Knowles at the premiere of Disney’s Mufasa in Hollywood, California on Monday, December 13 (…).

Monday’s performance was Jay-Z’s first public appearance since he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl sitting next to him in the 2000s Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The family appeared united as they walked the red carpet at the Disney film’s premiere, posing for photographers and hugging each other.

Per NBC News, Jay-Z, 55, was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl with Combs, 55, in 2000. The accuser, who remained anonymous and identified only as “Jane Doe,” claimed the assault occurred at an afterparty for the MTV Music Video Awards.

“I was hacked!” Knowles wrote in a note app message shared via Instagram on Monday, December 9: “As you all know, I don’t joke about my family. So if you see something out of character for me. Just know that it’s not me!”

Knowles added in the caption: “Please stop playing with me!!!!”
