Bill Murray comes to the Des Moines metro and brings a blues band with him. The famous actor and comedian will headline the “Bill Murray & his Blood Brothers” show at the Val Air Ballroom in April 2025.

Who is Bill Murray?

Murray is an American actor, comedian and author best known for his appearances on Saturday Night Live, Ghostbusters and other comedy films and has received numerous awards.

Originally from Evanston, Illinois, he is best known for his tone-deaf performances, First Fleet Concerts said online. In 2016, Murray received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

Who are the blood brothers?

The Blood Brothers are a blues and roots guitar duo consisting of Mark Zito and Albert Castiglia. According to the group’s website, the longtime musicians each won the Blues Rock Artist of the Year award.
